Here's how we match the perfect candidate with the perfect position!
Step One: Job Request Development
Highly detailed information is gathered concerning your company, the position description, qualifications sought and compensation level. Equally important here are the key selling points on why a prospective candidate might want to join your organization. This entire process is normally accomplished in a few short hours during a personal meeting in your office.
Step Two: Research
A comprehensive recruiting plan is developed that serves two primary functions: to identify which contractors employ the type of individual that we seek, and to define the proper approach needed to captivate the candidate’s interest. Existing contacts are also analyzed as qualified referral sources. The more thorough we are in the research phase, the more efficient we will be during the recruiting phase.
Step Three: Recruitment
Recruiting is truly the art form of the entire process as each call and candidate must be handled individually. This is the phase where your consultant’s experience level becomes critical since many times there is a limited number of potential candidates from which to choose. Regardless, a sufficient cross-section of qualified talent must be developed for your consideration.
Step Four: Analysis & Selection Process
This process by design must be quite thorough and time consuming. All pertinent information is verified and references checked. We will also, at times, use our confidential referral sources to gather additional information and reference input.
Step Five: Presentation & Client Interview
We will develop a comprehensive portfolio including the resume, detailed references and a qualifications statement for presentation to your firm. Prior to, and immediately after, each meeting the candidate and the employer will be prepped and debriefed; an essential step in determining interest levels, potential challenges and overall viability of each candidate.
Step Six: Selection & Closing Phase
Any necessary information is gathered, and our recommendations are given, to assist you in selecting the most qualified and closeable candidate. The close is a series of two-way communications with the final objective being an acceptance. Detailed closing plans are developed and any potential concerns are addressed. A qualified consultant, with full cooperation from his client, will close an average of 96.2% of all offers.
Step Seven: Resignation & Starting New Job Phase
Quite obviously the most exciting portion of the entire process, this phase includes a properly written resignation letter and acceptance letter. The selected candidate is then educated on how to manage the resignation meeting, thereby reducing the risk of a counter-offer being made or considered. During the period following acceptance, but prior to the actual start date, we maintain very close communications with the candidate to ensure that no loose ends have surfaced.
Once the candidate has begun employment, weekly discussions are held for the first month, and bi-monthly thereafter, so as to monitor and address any questions or confusion that may develop. However, after the first few weeks, the employee is generally well acclimated and there is very limited chance of any problems arising.
